1. Service Overview

NexCore Labs ("NexCore," "we," "us," or "our") is an independent student-led initiative that provides digital solutions services to student-led projects at universities and colleges across Oman. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our services and the creation of your project page.

By engaging our services, signing up on our platform, or accepting a service agreement, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our services.

2. Eligibility & Compliance

Who Can Use Our Services

• Student-led projects at universities and colleges in Oman
• Student organizations and clubs from Oman universities
• University research initiatives and academic projects
• Approved NexCore Labs users

Verification

We may require verification of your student affiliation. Providing false information about your eligibility may result in immediate termination of services without refund.

Prohibited Use

You agree not to use our services for:

• Illegal activities or content
• Hate speech, harassment, or discrimination
• Adult or explicit content
• Intellectual property infringement
• Misinformation or disinformation
• Commercial activities unrelated to your academic project
• Malware distribution or system attacks

3. Service Description

What We Provide

NexCore Labs provides the following services based on your selected plan:

• Page design and development
• Analytics integration and setup
• Technical support and maintenance
• Deployment and post-launch support

What's Not Included

• Premium design customization (beyond scope)
• Third-party integrations (may incur additional costs)

Service Timeline

Timing depends on payment verification, moderation, content readiness, and the features selected. Any specific delivery commitment will be shown at checkout or agreed with you in writing.

4. Payment Terms & Billing non-SQU

Pricing Model

NexCore uses a flexible, build-your-own pricing model. Access is purchased with a one-time fee, while optional support lasts for the selected fixed period. All prices are in Omani Rial (OMR). The complete rules are stated in our Pricing & Billing Policy.

Available Features & Prices

• Lifetime Access — 0.950 OMR (always included; no scheduled renewal fee, and access continues while NexCore operates the relevant service)
• Priority Review — 0.300 OMR (bank-transfer orders reviewed within 24 hours after payment verification and receipt of a complete, eligible submission)
• Professional Setup — 0.450 OMR (NexCore team configures your project page — coming soon)
• Featured Spotlight — 0.750 OMR (highlighted on NexCore Hub for 30 days — coming soon)

Support Duration (Optional)

• No Support — Free
• 1 Week — 0.250 OMR
• 1 Month — 0.500 OMR
• 3 Months — 1.000 OMR
• 6 Months — 1.500 OMR
• 1 Year — 2.500 OMR

Support starts when access is activated and covers email and WhatsApp guidance plus fixes for NexCore-managed functionality. It does not include unlimited custom development or third-party code. We target a response within 48 hours; resolution time depends on the issue.

Payment Methods

When paid orders reopen, the following rules will apply:

• Bank Transfer (Bank Muscat) — Transfer directly to our Bank Muscat account. Orders are verified within approximately 48 hours after the transfer is confirmed.
• PayPal — Pay in USD using the rate and complete total displayed on the payment page when the transaction is completed. The configured estimate may be 1 OMR = 2.60 USD, but the confirmed checkout amount controls. The base price and processing charge are shown before payment.

Optional Contributions

Optional contributions shown in the website footer are separate from service purchases, pricing, paid orders, and support packages. An optional contribution supports platform development and does not grant any additional rights or benefits.

Refund Policy

• Refund requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of payment confirmation
• A customer may not request a voluntary refund after fulfillment begins. Fulfillment begins when the project is published, access is activated or used, setup or priority review starts, or the customer benefits from any paid feature
• In cases of service failure on our end, a full refund or another agreed remedy will be provided
• Unrecoverable payment-processor fees may be deducted and will be disclosed clearly
• Nothing in these Terms limits a consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded

5. Intellectual Property Rights

Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you provide to us (text, images, logos, videos, etc.). You grant us a license to use this content solely for the purpose of creating your page.

Third-Party Assets

Your page may include third-party assets (icons, fonts, libraries) that are licensed for use. You agree to comply with their respective licenses.

6. Content & User Responsibility

Content Guidelines

You are responsible for:

• Ensuring all content is accurate and not misleading
• Obtaining necessary permissions for any third-party content
• Complying with all applicable laws and university policies
• Not including copyrighted material without proper attribution
• Ensuring content doesn't violate anyone's rights

Content Review

We reserve the right to review all content and request changes if content violates these Terms or is inappropriate. We are not responsible for content moderation beyond initial launch.

7. Security & Compliance

Our Security Measures

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service. Depending on the feature, these may include:

• HTTPS encryption and SSL certificates
• Access controls and authentication
• Security updates and monitoring
• Backups where configured for the relevant service
• Secure database practices

Your Responsibilities

• Keep login credentials confidential
• Notify us immediately of any suspected security breaches
• Comply with applicable Omani data protection law and other privacy rules that apply to your project
• Maintain security best practices for any custom modifications

Compliance Standards

We design and operate the service with reference to applicable Omani data protection law, accessibility guidance, and reasonable security practices. International requirements, including GDPR, apply only when their legal scope covers the relevant processing. NexCore does not store full card credentials; payment processors remain responsible for their own regulated payment systems.

8. Limitation of Liability

Disclaimer

We provide the service with reasonable care and according to the description agreed with you. Except for rights and remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, we do not promise that every feature will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose.

No Guaranteed Outcomes

NexCore does not guarantee academic grades or approval, publication acceptance, customers, investors, funding, revenue, search rankings, marketing performance, or any other academic or commercial result from using the platform.

Limitation of Damages

Except where prohibited by law, our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or our services shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in this section excludes liability or a consumer remedy that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.

Excluded Damages

In no event shall we be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of revenue, profits, or data
• Business interruption
• Third-party claims or actions

Service Availability

We design NexCore for reliable availability, but the standard service does not include a formal uptime SLA. Any service credit or SLA must be agreed in writing.

9. Termination

Termination by You

• You may ask us to remove your project or close your account at any time
• Where available and legally permitted, we will provide an export of your submitted project data

Termination by NexCore Labs

We may terminate your service immediately if you:

• Violate any provision of these Terms
• Engage in illegal activities
• Use the service to harm others or violate their rights
• Fail to complete or verify payment for a paid order
• Breach security protocols or engage in unauthorized access attempts

Upon Termination

• Your project may be unpublished or access may be disabled
• Data retention and deletion follow our Privacy Policy and applicable law

10. Changes to Service

Service Modifications

We may modify or discontinue services. Where practical, we will give reasonable notice of material changes and explain available export, migration, credit, or refund options.

Terms Updates

We may update these Terms for future use of the service. We will identify the effective date and provide reasonable notice of material changes where practical. If applicable law or the nature of a change requires fresh consent, we will ask for it rather than treating silence as consent.

Price Changes

We may adjust prices for future orders. A completed order keeps the server-calculated price recorded when it was submitted; later public price changes do not increase it retroactively.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Oman, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding will be brought exclusively in the competent courts of Oman.

This clause does not limit any mandatory consumer right, complaint route, or jurisdiction that cannot lawfully be excluded.
